Last Month of Fall at the Falls
The brown bears at Brooks Falls are nearing hibernation after a long summer of salmon fishing.
In late fall/beginning of winter, bears will enter hibernation for 5-8 months, though unlike some other hibernating animals, they can wake if disturbed.
