The Owls Are Coming Soon!
Our female Great Horned Owl is incubating the nest. Owl Research Institute hasn’t yet been able to spy all the eggs, so when they hatch, it’ll be a surprise! Any day now we can expect a brood of 1-3, with 2 most common.
Did You Know? Only the female Great Horned Owls incubate eggs and broods chicks in the nest while the males provide food and protection.
You can see the mother owl and be the first to catch the owlets on the Live Cam here!
