Polar Bears International has been on the ground shooting spectacular high-definition footage from the Arctic Tundra this polar bear season. Our latest highlight begins with two polar bears, roaming together, communicating via sniffs. It’s pretty cute actually, but suddenly we get the sense that all is not right.
The two bears quickly walk away from the the camera. They nervously travel in circles. Something gets their attention off-camera. Then the pair splits up and walk in the opposite direction from each other, retreating further. What is going on? Into the frame walks an enormous polar, throwing his weight around like he owns the place. The smaller bears know not to approach or engage, so they do the best they can – give the big guy some room.
