Welcome The Hope Litter!

Please join us in welcoming the newest litter of future service dogs from Warrior Canine Connection!
Warrior Canine Connection welcomed its second litter of 2017 — Callie’s Hope Litter — on April 30. The Yellow Labrador Retriever litter is made up of one girl (Ms. Pink) and three boys (Mr. Red, Mr. Green, and Mr. Blue).

The name “Hope” is in keeping with Warrior Canine Connection’s tradition of naming its litters after the values and characteristics that mark those who serve in the Military. Previous litter names include Honor, Courage and Valor.

During the puppies’ first eight weeks, volunteer “puppy petters” that include Service Members and their families are engaged in the critical task of socializing the pups. Then, members of the litter will train for very important work – helping to heal the visible and invisible wounds of our Nation’s Combat Veterans.

Be sure to tune into Explore.org for its 24/7, live stream coverage over the next eight weeks, and watch the puppies grow and progress right before your eyes. You can track their progress through weekly photo sessions that are posted to WCC’s Facebook page.
