This Week on Explore (8/31)

The CamOps that run our cams are the reason we are able to get the best seats in the house to view nature at it’s most spectacular. They dedicate their time and knowledge to give us all a glimpse into life’s rarest moments. CamOps ARE explore and that is why it is always so hard to say goodbye to one. This week, CamOp Bill sadly passed away. He will be missed.

We would like to announce that we have a new live cam that is out of this world! Thanks to NASA we get the stellar opportunity to watch Earth from an alien point of view. Watch it here!

As you all know, a lot of our cameras are remote and hard to get to which makes keeping them clean incredibly difficult. This week we hired an underwater professional to come take a look at our Anacapa Kelp Forest cam…we give it’s work TEN(tacles) stars!
