The Savannah Sparrow
This small songbird is common throughout the open habitats of North America. Despite living in these open spaces, it’s habits are secretive, and often it will be heard before spotted. Only the males sing, however, and their buzzy song is brief and repetitive. Photo Courtesy of Austin Patton
