This Memorial Day, we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
For returning combat veterans, the journey home can be difficult, full of grief, confusion, and anxiety. But relief comes through the extraordinary efforts of organizations like Warrior Canine Connection and Patriot Paws, who train and provide service dogs to warriors wounded by scars both visible and unseen.
As we commemorate those who have served, I invite you to visit these and other organizations that dedicate services to veterans like Freedom Service Dogs, ECAD, and Paws Assisting Veterans.
