Two Live Chats on Bear Cam, Thursday 07/17
Come early for a special sneak inside Katmai National Park. Join us on Thursday 07/17 as we host not one but TWO Live Video Chats with Ranger Roy in Alaska.
The Live Chats will be available both on our website at Explore.org and on USA Today. The first chat begins at 1 pm ET/10 am PT. Tune in later for the second chat at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT. Viewers can submit questions for the Q&A with Ranger Roy either in the comments section on the Bear Cam, or on Twitter using the #bearcam hashtag.
Katmai National Park is home to over 2,000 brown bears who descend upon the rivers for the salmon run every summer. Watch on our Live Bear Cam now as brown bears and cubs gather together in the water to fish – the busiest time is now through early August. Check out our Bear Blog for 17 Facts to Know about the Bear Cam and behind the scenes information from our rangers on the dramas of the bear world!
