Big Cat Rescue is a Tampa, Florida-based sanctuary that saves cats in danger, heals those they’ve rescued and works to end the trade of lion, tigers, cougars and other felines. Now they’ve partnered with us to bring a series of live cams to explore!
Established in 1992, Big Cat Rescue has helped more than 250 exotic cats who were previously kept as pets, discarded from zoos and performing acts, or held captive by the fur farming industry.
The sanctuary currently houses over 90 lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, bobcats, servals, caracals, ocelots and other wild cats.
Our wonderful new Big Cat Rescue Live Cam series brings us into their world. Watch them roam the large Vacation Rotation outdoor space, gobble up meals in the Feeding Area, and see their domestic relatives frolic in the Kitten Cabana. And more cams are yet to come!
In addition to providing lifetime care for captive-born exotic cats, Big Cat Rescue also rehabs and releases native bobcats, partners with the local Humane Society of Tampa Bay to foster domestic cats and kittens, and works with field biologists, conservationists and wild cat experts around the world to protect rare and endangered species. Stay tuned to our Big Cat Rescue channel for exclusive views of the bobcat rehab area and live conversations with big cat experts.
