Meet the Frisky Penguin Pair – Floyd & Roxy

Floyd – Born in 2010, Floyd is a curious penguin who likes to hang out with the other younger birds. At feeding time, he becomes quite bold and doesn’t hesitate to let his trainers know he is there by tugging on their clothes. In 2013, Floyd and Roxy became the proud parents of two chicks, the first penguins born at the Aquarium.

Roxy – Roxy likes to be first, especially when it comes to feeding time. Other than that, her personality is pretty relaxed. She likes to hang around with Robbie and feed first with Whatever. The chicks that hatched [in 2013 were] one male and one female… Her trainers say she likes her fish heads to be facing to the right for her to eat them.
