Meet Angel

Angel was rescued from a shelter in Carteret County, NC at about 1 year of age, and was recruited for service dog training. She is a very intelligent dog and knows all her skills, but sadly her anxiety traveling in the car goes way beyond what a veteran with PTSD could deal with. Canines for Service felt her skills were valuable, and she remains a program dog, providing presentations in the community and public awareness about service dogs.
