In order for dogs to perform service tasks, they need to feel a strong connection to humans. This is part of the reason why training begins with puppies. In the puppy cams from Ipswich, Massachusetts, you can see the puppies sharing a bed with a person. They’re also bottle-fed at two weeks of age. Warrior Canine Connection does something similar when they bring in vets to pet the puppies. These dogs are raised to love, and help, humans.
