Here’s an update to the Cams temporary shut down and what’s going on with Divot!
July 31:
The cams were down all day due to a voltage regulator failure on Dumpling. A second repair attempt will be made on Aug 2.
Meanwhile, a welfare check on Divot found her and her cub sleeping on the beach, not far from where she was darted. Cub has been catching fish, too. After that we went to Margot Creek to look for Holly and her cub(s), but had no luck. The only Brooks Camp bear we saw was 402.
At Brooks Camp, a cow moose was seen by the leaning spruces at about 4:30 pm.
Sure hope the cameras are fixed soon. I’m missing my bearvision 🙂
