Happy to watch hippos? Excited to see elephants? Manic for monkeys?
Volunteer to remotely operate the explore.org live cams recently installed in Kenya! Imagine being able to sit at your home computer and watch hippos, elephants, giraffes and monkeys. You will be the one in charge of panning, tilting and zooming while thousands of viewers tune in around the world to watch and learn.
Within its 200 km2 of unfenced landscape, Mpala incorporates cattle ranching, wildlife, and research all in one. The Mpala Research Centre (MRC) receives hundreds of students, educators, and scientists from around the globe each year, conducting research on everything from parasites to elephants. The unique set up of Mpala allows for researchers to use the land as a ‘living laboratory’ in which to conduct experiments and answer pressing questions on conservation and wildlife.
Cameras will be live and in need of camera operation from 6AM-8PM local time UTC +3 (11 hours ahead of Pacific Time).
