Panda Munching on some Bamboo

Up On Old Leopard Mountain

Have you met our giant pandas yet? Climb Old Leopard Mountain and meet the pandas who live there.

Old Leopard Mountain is behind the Keeper’s office at Bifengxia, China’s Giant Panda Reserve. It is the largest reserve and research center for the endangered panda in the world. There you can see the giant pandas climbing, rolling and doing what they do best – – eating bamboo.

Did You Know? Pandas eat 25- 40 lbs of bamboo a day, but they also will eat flowers, fish and meat. Captive pandas get treats of carrots and apples. Pandas eat up to 14 hours a day.
