These Service Dogs Are Here To School You

Are service dogs required to wear some kind of identification so businesses know whether he/she is really a service dog?

Nope! All that’s required is for the service dog to be harnessed or leashed, unless that interferes with the animal’s work or it is not possible because of the person’s disability. Businesses are not allowed to ask for a service dog’s identification, and the service dog owner is not required to carry one. Read more about service dog laws on ADA’s website.
