Sooty Terns of the Dry Tortugas
At the bird sanctuary in the Dry Tortugas National Park, Sooty Terns make they’re one American landfall to breed. Afterward, “they spend most of their time in the air, almost never perching or alighting on the water” (Audubon Society).
