Snowy Owl Live Cam Chat 07/18
We’re chatting it up on Explore.org! Join our next expert Live Cam Chat on Friday, July 18th, with Denver Holt from the Owl Research Institute on the Snowy Owl Live Cam at 3 pm ET/Noon PT. Submit your questions on the Live Cam here!
Our Snowy Owl nest is located in Barrow, Alaska and is part of the Owl Research Institute’s long-term study on Snowy Owl and Brown Lemming Breeding Ecology. With 24 hours of sunlight in the arctic this time of year, you can tune in any time day or night to watch the nest! This study is one a few long-term research projects on this species, now in its 23rd year.
And don’t forget to join us Thursday and Friday for more live #snowyowl Q&As with the Cornell Lab Bird Cams staff at 4PM ET. Let us know what you’re wondering! (If you don’t see the chat window on the right side, please refresh your browser window.)
(Thanks to K and B and our viewers who apparently used 70 pictures to make this awesome gif!)
