Explore is on a mission to bring viewers closer to nature. Our series of live cams have streamed millions of hours of the wonders of the world – from salmon-snatching brown bears in Alaska’s Katmai National Park, to African elephants roaming the Kenyan plains. Our new, interactive “Pearls of the Planet” experience creates an immersive environment for visitors to Skylight Studios. And now 100-foot polar bears are roaming the night walls in Santa Monica, California!
Stroll by the intersection of 2nd Street and Santa Monica Boulevard everyday from 6 PM to 11 PM PT now through January 3rd to catch stunning, larger-than-life scenes from our beautifully shot film “The Arctic“. Catch intimate views of polar bears roaming the frozen tundra and ghostly images of the Northern Lights dancing in the skies above Churchill, Canada.
“It’s an honor for explore.org to work with the City of Santa Monica to share the wondrous world of the Arctic to residents and visitors over the holiday season”, says Explore founder Charlie Annenberg. “The holidays can be a time of stress for so many that we are offering people a chance to escape and remember how sacred our planet is while walking a city street.”
