After a long winter away in South America, the ospreys have returned to Hog Island. Let’s welcome them back with a live chat from eminent osprey expert Dr. Rob Bierregaard!
Dr. B will join us on Wednesday, April 22nd at 4pm ET / 1pm PT to answer your osprey questions live. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to ask THE expert about osprey behaviors such as migrating, nesting, mating, and defending the home from intruders. Soon, our osprey couple will lay eggs and care for chicks right before our eyes. Get the full scoop on their private lives by joining the hangout at the Osprey Cam and posting your questions in the comments section.
