Busy week at OFSDS. We hosted our 3rd 3 day seminar about Starting, Growing and Operating a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Participants came from a number of states and lots of good information was exchanged.
New Arrivals
- Boo and Zury — a bonded pair of miniature poodles
- Big Al — Min Pin
- Schroeder — blind brown mixed breed who I omitted from last week’s update who is settling in Reception very nicely
Across the Rainbow Bridge
- Mildred — presidential candidate and member of the Home Gang. She was very old and passed away in her sleep.
- Suzy — a member of the Reception gang. She had mobility issues and when both of her hips popped out of place and when veterinarian intervention could not keep the hips in place she was helped across the Bridge.
Dog Updates
- Socks, a Reception resident, had all of his rotten teeth removed. He’ll have to eat a soft diet for the rest of his life but we can tell he already feels so much better.
