We’re in the midst of peak bear viewing season on the Katmai Brown Bear Cams, which happens every July and September. Up to 70 individual bears have been identified in a given July. On the flip side, relatively few bears use the Brooks River area in June and August. During these months, there may be days when no bears appear along the river.
