A Worthy Cause
Two weeks ago, a man in Burdur found a paralyzed dog at an animal hospital in very bad condition. The dog had had an accident about a month prior and had been abandoned by his family to the Veterinary Faculty in Burdur. His injuries were a result of an improper use of a wheelchair that was provided to him at the Veterinary Facility.
The Golden was named “Hope” after the light of hope in his eyes.
Sadly, Hope’s rescuer was financially not able to support the pup through his surgeries. Hope is currently still struggling in Turkey, not able to receive proper treatment for his injuries.
Barbara Gale, the founder and Treasurer of Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue, is fundraising to bring this pup to the states for proper treatment and to hopefully find him a better home.
