A Fluffball In The Burrow!
Helloooo, puffling! The Puffin Burrow parents welcome a new chick to their under-boulder nest. It hatched early this morning, a perfect fluffball.
Project Puffin director Steve Kress tells us the parents are last year’s on-cam pair, who honeymooned but didn’t raise a chick.
Now mom and dad puffin will feed their chick bill-fulls of fish, delivered fresh from the sea to the burrow.
