Karma and Lisa share a special bond.
Lisa tells us: “This is my dog Karma about 6 months after I adopted her. My sister had died about 3 months prior, and I was still feeling the effects of that shocking loss. I didn’t realize it then, but Karma came into my life to help me deal with the fallout from losing my sister and then, less than 2 years later, helped me through the tragedy of the Virginia Tech shootings (where I was an instructor). She has been my canine caregiver through two rounds of cancer treatment. She is my all. At the time of this photo, I just knew I loved her like no one I have ever loved – and she looks pretty darn happy herself!
