A Fan’s Favorite Moments: #BearCam

Explore.org fan Gina remembers her favorite moments from last year’s Brown Bear Cam and #402 in particular:

It had to be seeing #402 with her 3 spring cubs, as one of my favorite moments. It was the first time – other than watching the bears – to see babies looking so innocent with so much danger all around at the falls with all the other bears, and momma just needing to eat and feed her family.

I watched them all year even, sadly, her losing one towards the end of the year.

I hoped the best for the winter and her returning with only one was very sad but I know that’s just how it is♥ I’m glad one did survive and hoping it makes it through the summer and into the fall – and goes with mom to sleep for the winter.
