“I haven’t left my home in over a year since my return from my second deployment, until now. Thanks to K9s For Warriors, I’m currently in training with my new service dog Trooper. Trooper has allowed me to go into social environments that I wouldn’t have before, he keeps me grounded when I feel things are getting out of control. He has given me the very thing that I have fought for on two deployments for this great country, my independence and freedom. My service dog Trooper is my life line to the real world.”
