New Year’s Resolution

2013 has arrived and even Leader Dog-in-training Queen has a New Year’s resolution. Like most of us, she wants bear down this year and get in tip-top shape! Not because she wants to look fabulous in a bathing suit come summer time, but because she will finally be ready to meet her new owner. Queen started her journey as an adorable puppy raised by an inmate through Leader Dogs’ inmate puppy raiser program. He loved and took care of Queen for the first 12 months of her life and prepared her for the adventure she would soon embark upon. From there, Queen returned to Leader Dog to begin her training program where an amazing group of instructors patiently taught and guided her. Now Queen is finally ready to graduate and become a companion, friend and most importantly, a guide for someone else.
