Zen Den Friday
This is a sunset from the Arctic Baffin Island. …Or maybe it’s sunrise? Or maybe midday?
The arctic currently has 24 hours of sunlight. Next week though, the sun will start to set for about an hour or two each day. Then nightfall begins to get longer until the sunrises end on September 25. For the briefest fall moment, the only light in the arctic will be moderate twilight – the sun only teasing the horizon until early October when it will disappear altogether until March.
Here’s to the onset of dusk (or dawn) and another Friday night.
