The Rare & Royal on the African Wildlife Cams!
From our partners at the Mpala Research Centre:
The African Wildlife Cams are in full swing and we hope you’ve been enjoying the stunning landscapes and scenery. We’ve been getting to know lots of species on the blog and today we’re showcasing some other lesser known species who have been showing up.
Pictured above is the Egyptian Geese. These birds were considered sacred by ancient Egyptians, regularly appearing in their art. The males are larger and Egyptian geese usually mate for life.
It seems like everyday a whole new species shows up at the African Wildlife Cams for our enjoyment, doesn’t it? Keep watching everybody… there are many known species in the area who haven’t been spotted yet… it’s only going to get better!
