Four Corners of Audubon: Northwest

At the Seattle Audubon Society you can learn about the birds of Washington. Birds like the one pictured above, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. This Cuckoo is “considered extirpated in Washington, but they appear extremely rarely during summer. Yellow-billed Cuckoos are slender, long-tailed birds with white underparts and dark upperparts. They have unstreaked, grayish-brown backs and rufous wings.
