As Becky Turner who snapped this pic put it – it’s rare to see the “orcas” all lined up and nursing in sync!
Over on the Service Dog Project farm, the newest litter from Merlow is making its way in the world and man do they grow up fast. Explore.org fan, Shari, shared this TBT (Throw Back Thursday) with us of SDP favorite, Chaos.
Great danes were originally bred to hunt wild boar. Since their early days as genetic offspring of mastiffs bred for hunting and killing, modern day great danes have gentle personalities and love to play with other dogs and humans.
Random Fact: “Drawings of dogs who look like Great Danes have been found on Egyptian artifacts dating back to 3000 B.C. and in Babylonian temples that were built around 2000 B.C.” (Dogtime).
Meet all of the modern orcas, big and small, on the SDP Live Cam here.
