“It is possible to age seals quite accurately by counting the growth rings round the roots of the back teeth,” (source). Our seal pup here wouldn’t have too many rings yet, but soon he’ll join the rest in heading out to sea, and we’ll hope to catch him next year on the Gray Seal Pupping Cam.
