Meet New : Service Dog In Training
Meet “New,” a doggy who almost didn’t survive his stint at a high-kill Idaho shelter. After being shot at and injured as a stray, it wasn’t certain that he’d make a full recovery. PAVE saw great potential in him and decided to train him as a service dog for a disabled veteran.
We’re optimistic that he will be matched with a veteran by the summer. Hopefully the lucky lab mix will be able to celebrate his 4th of July birthday as a confident assistance dog for a veteran.
