Teal And Jocelyn

Jocelyn is thirteen and has Friedrich’s Ataxia. This progressive neuromuscular disease caused her to fall several times a day and forced her to use a wheelchair to get around at school. She was paired with Teal, a Great Dane trained by the Service Dog Project to help with balance and support. At more than twice her weight Teal has helped her become active and independent. She is now able to participate in school activities and even go to the mall with her friends!
