Jason And Ariel

Jason and Ariel entered into the Soldier’s Best Friend program in December 2012. Jason is an Army veteran who proudly served eight years. He did three tours in Iraq in an infantry unit as a squad leader. The first tour was for one year, 2003-04. After being home for a short period of time,  he returned in 2004-06 and then deployed again 2008-09.  

Ariel had been the family’s dog for over a year. Ariel is an English Bulldog and he found her for sale in the classifieds. Someone needed to re-home two bulldogs due to the economy and Jason lucked out with adopting Ariel from her original owner. She is two years old and the first English Bulldog SBF has ever had in their program.

Jason and his wife, who is also a veteran, are raising two daughters and a son. In his spare time he enjoys restoring trucks and fishing.
