Scary Man Not So Scary
It seems Scary Man isn’t doing his job — a merlin has appeared on Seal Island. This small hawk, the least well-marked of American falcons, feeds primarily on other birds, posing a problem for the populations on Seal.
Pictured is the merlin eating a tern chick. Hopefully Scary Man will be able to frighten it off soon!
