Alexander And Sela
Alexander Nasukiewicz served in Vietnam at the age of 19 and served one year before returning to the states and being assigned to Fort Devens, MA. In September 1968 he was honorably discharged and started a career with Con Edison in New York. Having realized he missed serving in the U.S. Army, Nasukiewicz re-enlisted in the Army in October 1977 in New Jersey and made it his career. Alex retired from the U.S. Army in October 1994 as Sergeant 1st Class. He is currently living in California with his wife Mimi.
Alex has been partnered with Service Dog Sela, a black Labrador who just turned 4 years old. Sela came from a rescue in the Myrtle Beach, SC area and was fostered in the Canines for Service civilian service dog training program until being transferred to the Canines for Veterans program to complete her advanced training.
