Kiran Center India
At India’s Kiran Center (which means “ray of light”), the teachers empower differently-abled children to lead healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives.
A small group of people from various social, cultural and religious backgrounds founded Kiran in September 1990. There, they focus on togetherness and family, enriching everyone’s talents and abilities.
Most of the children Kiran works with are living with the effects of polio, cerebral palsy, rickets and/or hearing impairments… none of which stop them from shining.
Meet the kids of Kiran in this short film from Charlie’s travels to India.
