We recently caught this article suggesting that horses are a threat to panda survival because they like to snack on bamboo, too. And not only do they snack, they leave very little behind. So as a solution, authorities have banned horses from the Wolong Nature Reserve in an effort to revive the bamboo population and better support the pandas’ main food source.
