There are three pits in Xi’an, China that contain more than 6,000 terra-cotta warriors. These warriors, believed to be exact replicas of real, individual soldiers, were buried in a pit the size of two American football fields. Archaeologists continue to dig in hopes of unearthing more of these buried soldiers.
