Huan Huan & Yuan Zi Celebrate One Year At ZooParc De Beauval

One year ago, on January 15, 2012, the people of France welcomed Huan Huan and Yuan Zi. The panda pair arrived on the FedEx Panda Express at Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport. A FedEx truck transported them later to Saint-Aignan. The beautifull panda house at ZooParc de Beauval’s ‘Sur les Hauteurs de Chine’ is their home since then.

Yuan Zi and Huan Huan explored the inside enclosures of the panda house one day later and they were introduced to the media on January 17. Their public debut was postponed due to a heavy snowfall and the first visitors walked to ‘Sur les Hauteurs de Chine’ on February 18. The official inauguartion took place on November 23.

1.002.000 people visited ZooParc de Beauval. A record for the park.
They are now the largest touristic site in the Loir-et-Cher region, and one of the 15 biggest in France.
