Introducing Luther!

Hi! I’m Luther, a future guide dog for the Guide Dog Foundation! I was born on January 5th and I am a Black Lab/Golden Retriever cross. I live in Athens, GA with my puppy raiser Caroline. She is a Junior at the University of Georgia. I will live with her and go just about everywhere she goes for a year while I grow up and prepare for my formal training as an assistance dog. I’ll be sharing updates about my progress every week so you can see exactly what it’s like to raise a guide dog.
