Polar Bear Venturing Close to Churchill Town, Snapshot from Cloud
The Beluga Sky Cam caught some excitement on land two days ago. A polar bear ventured close to town, risking his safety as well as the humans’ who live there. Explore.org fan
From the polar bear sighting this morning. Had been watching it for awhile. At the 1:37 minute mark there is a large puff of smoke. Birds scatter. The polar bear police have arrived and set off something to scare the bear to go across the river. There is a road which cant be seen. While trying to see them, I lose track of the bear 🙂 Finally relocate it at the 6:00 minute mark. They were successful in chasing the bear across the river for the bear’s safety and peoples’.
And Aussie Jan added, “The bear patrol police have three types of bullets, green, blue and re. The green lets off a crack sound, the blue is louder crack, and the red… well by then it is not needed.”
