This summer, Polar Bears International has hired several local Churchill summer students to assist Captain Hayley on the Beluga Boat. One of their jobs is to answer questions you might have about what it’s like to grow up and live in The Polar Bear Capital Of the World!
Aidan is our “senior” summer student and will be out on the boat about twice a week, publishing social media throughout the season. He is starting university in Winnipeg this fall and dreams of being a filmmaker.
Terry and Jurnee are our “junior” students and will each be out on the boat several times and writing blogs. Both girls just finished Grade 9 and have a variety of experiences out on the land that they love to talk about!
All students are from Churchill and are very excited to be able to get out on the water and up close with the whales this summer. Please feel free to ask them any questions you might have – they will be happy to answer!
