Darwin’s finches

Darwin’s finches may have started the bird beak evolution theories, but new ideas are running wild today; From the size of bills relating to the weather (hotter = bigger, colder = smaller to need less where there is less) to the roots of it all and the development of beaks in dinosaurs.

Did You Know? “Over time, many dinosaurs replaced their toothy grins with beaks to aid their transition to plant eating.” So “most predatory theropods were actually herbivores, so carnivores like T. rex were rare and primitive.” (Discovery)
