Nature’s Quiet
Getting close enough to a protective sow with spring cubs in order to record sound effects is difficult, and that human presence would be intrusive. Cub growls and squalls in the film came from a remote audio station in Denali, set up to measure “natural quiet”. A curious sow with spring cubs discovered it. Listen to the newborns purr.
