Brown Bear season is gearing up in Alaska’s Katmai National Park! The live cams are back on and we’ve seen a few bears start fishing Brooks Falls. It’s the perfect time to introduce you to the Katmai Rangers who’ll be our guides to the summer of bear cams.
Rangers Daniel Lombardi and David Kopshever join us on Tuesday, June 21st at 3pm PT / 6pm ET for an introductory live chat. The two are new to the game but can teach us so much about the ecology of brown bears and other species. And our returning viewers can tell the Rangers the life histories of the individual bears on the Katmai cams.
