Community Voices: Earth Day Feedback

On Earth Day, we asked what you would do to celebrate the day, and Drew sent us a message that was truly inspirational.

I’m a 41-year-old man with a traumatic brain injury.  Celebrating nature is an everyday experience for me, and it should be for all of us.  I like to recycle and read Ranger Rick magazine.  Even though it’s set up as a children’s magazine, I believe everybody can kearn from Ranger Rick.  Nature rocks!

Your friend,
Drew

Need a break from the football action?

Check out Explore.org’s short films that have been featured in film festivals. From dolphins, global culture, gorillas and surfing, eight of our short films have been festival selected, with two winning:

The story of saving Rwanda’s gorillas, and the above piece: Fish Out of Water.

This film explores the story of Christian Ellis, an Iraq War veteran who struggled with the return home and PTSD, and whose story led to the creation of Fallujah: the first opera on the Iraq war.
