Love Is In The Air For RazorBills.

Razorbills are short (17 inches long), chunky seabirds with short, stubby wings. They are members of the auk family and are closely related to puffins, guillemots, and murres. The breeding adult razorbill is distinguished by a black back and head, white belly, thick bill, and uptilted tail (when swimming)… Legs and feet are black. On breeding grounds, razorbills make a low guttural or croaking urrr sound. (Read more at Maine.gov).

The Great Horned Owlet is looking very grown up these days. 
They are beginning to stretch their wings and practice flapping, while mom gives them room to assert their independence.
